Katherine, also known as the Leader of the Thieves, is the game's second boss and can be found by the end of Level 4.
According to the Claw Design Bible, she was once a member of Claw's crew. The captain banished her from his ship because of her recklessness.
It's rumoured they had a romantic affair thanks to her dialogue lines.
Battle[]
Katherine has 2 attacks—a whip, which is used for long-distance attacks, and a dagger stab, which happens at close distances. She's fast and agile, hitting quickly and often.
Jump towards Katherine and hit her with a high slash attack. As soon as your feet hit the ground, jump away from her and repeat. If you happen to stun Katherine, kneel down in front of her and attack as many times as you can. Running away does not work against Katherine, as her whip will be able to hit you wherever you go.
There are two small health potions at the top of the level, and they can be accessed by jumping on the breakable leaves.
Katherine is an acrobatic boss, as she can somersault from one space to another. Her weapon is a whip that has a long-range, and she's able to block some attacks using her knife. Defeating her grants the Captain the second gem.
